Viva Vera

client: The Vera Project

roles: director, camera op, editor

circa: 2019

notes: an interview-driven video for an all-ages music venue, art school, and safe space in Seattle, Washington.

This project was created for The Vera Project’s annual fundraising gala, Viva Vera.

The video is a mix of live footage and audio from a Car Seat Headrest and Kimya Dawson show alongside interviews with staff, community members, and b-roll of art classes in action.

In addition to the long-form video, I created some short cutdowns for social media and put together a call-to-action video recorded in collaboration with Seattle rapper Macklemore to help raise funds during the gala.
